We had a great time and fed a lot of people at the fundraising BBQ! Thank you to everyone who helped out and showed up to support the Janice Reid Center. We had many tours through our still under-construction space and we think everyone sees the vision clearly. We are so excited for opening day June 2nd.
We raised over $3,000 with this fundraiser, which provides much needed funding for caregiver salaries and start up costs. Stay tuned for our next event which will be an Open House once we are settled.
We are so proud of this community and everyone's support. What a great Mother's Day gift to Janice, she would have loved seeing you all.

The Janice Reid Center was started as a way to honor our mother who passed away with Alzheimer's dementia. Our vision is to provide stimulating respite day services for people with dementia while supporting caregivers.

Our dedicated team at the Janice Reid Center is committed to make a difference every day. From well trained caregivers to our board of directors, we use our collective experience and passion to improve the lives of those we serve.

Do you have a full or partial set of china hidden away, unused, and in need of love and admiration?
Do you love to antique shop and find affordable tableware?
We'd love to use old china instead of buying new! Bring us your china and we will use it for our daily meal. It will be cherished and give us a chance to reminisce days gone by.
If you're interested in becoming a caregiver, start by applying here and attaching your resume.

Adult Day Centers provide care for adults needing supervision or assistance with activities of daily living. This is daytime care only, and not overnight care. Typically this care does not include nursing level care, but does require some hands on caregiving support.

We do want to make sure we do our very best for every client and family we serve. To do this, we have an assessment and application process. This involves talking to the family and caregivers as well as an in person evaluation of every client. This can take place in your home or at the center, please call or email us for more information.
